How might we turn informal learning into tools for economic resiliency?
As a Community Health and Economic Development (CHED) volunteer, I instructed solar energy installation as well as Life Skills at a local training centre. For a women’s group, I facilitated marketing & quality control strategies, as well as grant proposals and applications with assistance from the senior chief. I also developed a more sustainable agriculture program; as well as co-facilitated a HIV/AIDS support group to grow a stronger support network for successful rehabilitation into the community.
Through community mapping & resource mapping, one can leverage the established abilities of people into vehicles for thriving.
